I am an engineer by day and a photographer by night and weekends. My story definitely doesn’t start with “I had always been very creative since the time I was a little girl” or “I started shooting when I was 8 years old”…when I was 8 years old, I was building Dragsters and Dune Buggies with K’NEX, not taking pictures. My passion for photography really only started a couple of years ago. I got a good camera so I could take better photos while hiking, backpacking and traveling. Over the past three years that has evolved into a love for photographing PEOPLE. Everything I know is self-taught. When people ask me how I learned about photography, I tell them I read a few books and took a LOT of pictures!!


When I’m not taking pictures or doing nerdy engineering stuff, I can usually be found playing with our puppy, cooking, running, gardening, hiking or backpacking. Thanks for taking a moment to learn a little more about me and I hope you enjoy the photos!
